Product Description
Ductile iron casting refers to get spheroidal graphite through the spheroidization and inoculation which effectively improve the mechanical properties of cast iron, especially improve the plasticity and toughness and get a higher strength than carbon steel. Ductile iron castings is produced by ductile iron foundry which uses the ductile iron as materials and adopts advanced foundry technology.
The performance of ductile iron castings is close to carbon steel. Since it is easier to molding in castability, has better processability than steel casting, and has stronger heat resistance, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance, so it is widely applied in many industries.
